Bambollait wurde in Moctezuma erstmalig gefunden. Er bildet pseudobkubische, schwarze bis 0,5 mm große Körner, zusammen mit feinkörnigem Klockmannit. Besonders viel gibt es in der San Miguel Mine, wo er auch typisch ist.

Baryti

Baryt ist in Moctezuma neben Quarz Ganggestein, Kristalle sind selten. Hier bildet er meist klare oder trübe, quaderförmige XX, gelegentlich gelb-bräunlich. Flächenreiche, tafelige XX in drusigem Quarz sind auch gefunden worden. Paragenese: Emmonsit, Zemannit.

In der Bambollita Mine füllt Carlfriesit meist nur Spalten und bildet selten gelbe, botryoidale Aggregate in Begleitung von Hessit.

In der Bambolla Mine, wo Carlfriesit viel seltener ist als in der Bambollita Mine, findet man ihn als kleine monokline Kriställchen bis 5 mm, selten zusammen mit Tellurit und im Einzelfall mit Moctezumit.

Emmonsit kommt in vielen Formen vor und ist das häufigste grüne Sekundärmineral. Oft findet man prismatische, grasgrüne Kristalle, die zu Büscheln angeordnet sind. Er bildet auch kugelige Aggregate, Rosetten und dünne Würmchen. Matrix ist meistens das kolloide Eisentellurat.

Libethenit bildet olivgrüne Krusten bestehend aus winzigen prismatischen Kristallen zusammen mit grasgrünen Pseudomalachitkrusten. Nadelige Kristalle auf Quarz hat man auch im San Miguel Prospect entdeckt. In der tellurlosen Kupfermineralisation ist Libethenit weit verbreitet. Libethenit ist auch mit Mottramit, Malachit und Azurit in Paragenese.

Moctezumit (TL)i

Moctezumit ist das häufigste Uranmineral von Moctezuma und bildet orangegelbe bis braune, tafelige Kristalle, die meist zu schichtartigen Aggregaten angeordnet sind; selten sind einzelne Kristalle zu sehen. Hier hat Moctezumit Typlokalität, daher auch die Namensgebung. Paragenese: Schmitterit, Emmonsit und kolloides Eisentellurat.

Paratellurit kommt in Form von weißen bis gelbbeigen Überzügen auf Tellurit vor und bildet auch Pseudomorphosen nach Tellurit. Durch die Umwandlung werden die Kristalle rissig, verlieren ihre knallgelbe Farbe und werden milchig und scheinen ausgeblichen.

Poughit bildet gelbe kugelige Krusten, fast immer in Anwesenheit von Pyrit. Gelbe kugelige Krusten ohne Pyrit sind meistens (Para-)Tellurit. Die Aggregate bestehen aus kleinen, tafeligen Kristallen. Die Farbe variiert zwischen knallgelb bis bräunlichgelb über grüngelb (selten).

Pyriti

Pyrit ist neben Tellur das häufigste Erz von Moctezuma. Er bildet glänzende, goldene Butzen, aber auch in Quarz eingeschlossene Würfelchen. Die Kristalle weisen meistens eine Streifung auf und sind verzerrt; auch sind die Kristalle manchmal angewittert. Vermutlich ist Pyrit das Mineral in Moctezuma, das am meisten Gold beherbergt.

In der Bambollita Mine hat man dünntafelige Stützit-Aggregate gefunden, die krustenartig [Hessit] überzogen haben. Er ist schwer von anderen Telluriden zu unterscheiden.

Azurblaue Prismen bis max. 10mm bildet Teineit von der Bambollita Mine, welche in Quarzdrusen vorkommen. Teineit ist eine der größten Seltenheiten von Moctezuma.

Telluri

Gediegenes Tellur ist im gesamten Revier von Moctezuma verbreitet. Vor allem in der Bambolla Mine kann man körnige Massen in Quarz finden. In seltenen Fällen gibt es auch längsgestreifte, matte Kristalle in Quarzdrusen. Häufig hat man schwarze Massen entdeckt, welche aus durch Einschlüsse von ged. Tellur verfärbtem (Para-)Tellurit bestehen.

Meistens kommt Tellurit in Form hellgelber Krusten in der Telluratparagenese vor, allerdings gibt es auch häufig goldgelbe bis orange prismatische, orthorhombische Kristalle bis cm-Größe in Quarzdrusen. Diese haben meist pinakoidale Endflächen und sind auch oft zu parallel geschachtelten Aggregaten angeordnet. Manchmal sind die Kristalle durch Einschlüsse von gediegenem Tellur grünlich bis grau gefärbt.

Zemannit (TL)i

Zemannit ist recht häufig in Form prismatischer und nadeliger Kristalle in Quarzdrusen zu finden. Die prismatischen Kristalle sind braun und erinnern an intensiv gefärbtem Rauchquarz. Die nadeligen Kristalle sind auch braun und erinnern an Mimetesit.

Die dunkelbrauneren Kristalle sind meist reicher an Mangan, jedoch handelt es sich dabei nicht um Kinichilit, dieses Endglied der Zemannit-Kinichilit-Reihe wird nicht erreicht.
