1: Beautiful "Rio Atuel" , near "San Rafael" City , Mendoza Province . "CUYEAN REGION"  not Patagonian Region.
2: None of these agates from "San Rafael" agates were acceptable quality. We just threw them away!! Almost took one full day to collect them.

This picture was shot about 45 kilometers from the main road . Not just sitting in a rock to shoot the picture!
There are thousands of agates in "San Rafael" . But you have to take the risk of travelling to find them!
We have been there in every season of the year!

Hello patagoniantar,

as it looks is one preserves area not only from the landscape but also around beautiful agates to find. Dissopointin of agates I did not see yet, am as he to look very strained after will cut many beautiful finds.

After 5 days of trying to find agates of good quality. We just found ONE!!! :)

These are Commercially known as "Condor" agates. They become from the "Cuyean" Region , near "San Rafael" City , "Mendoza" Province.
