Thema der Diskussion war doch: Perhaps Colquechaca ? (ganz oben, von Alfredo).
Dann schriebst Du was von einem "Originalbild bei mindat". Das entspricht aber nicht dem Bild, was im Silberportrait steht. Der im Silberportrait-Argyrodit ist original aus Lavinsky's Archiv, nicht aus mindat. In Lavinsky's Archiv steht nichts von Colquechaca, sondern eine Beschreibung mit Fundortangabe Oruro. (s.u.)
Ich lege Wert auf diese Feststellung. Wenn ich ein Lavinsky-Bild ins Portrait übernehme, dann entlehne ich dieses aus Lavinsky's Archiv, ich gehe nicht zu mindat.
Dass unter dem Pseudo-Okaederbild auch Oruro steht, hatte ich erwähnt. Ich weiß nicht, wie Du auf Himmelsfürst kommst.
Das "rechts" bezieht sich auf die "rechts oben" gezeigte Stufe, das habe ich mittlerweile geändert.

This is a major specimen of huge import! It is a rare example of a large euhedral crystal of this species, and the style of crystallization was found apparently just once and long ago (pre-1940). It was part of a piece in the BMNH that Mark much admired and one day he asked the curator if they might have a small sample for him of this material. To his surprise, this piece at some point was trimmed right off the major single piece at the BMNH
