Echinantus ist im Echinoid directory nicht angeführt, Echinanthus als rezente Art geführt.
Eventuell eine Echinolampas-Art ? ?

hat sich geklärt - Echinanthus wird mitlerweile bei WoRMS als invalide Untergattung von (also Synonym zu) Clypeaster geführt
