Hallo,
das Deutsche Museeum in München möchte, um Symmetrie besser veranschaulichen zu können, Bilder von Mineralien zeigen.

Geeignet wären allerhand Kristalle mit geometrisch ausgeprägten Formen, die Symmetrie erahnen lassen. Denkbar ist zum Beispiel: Aragonit, Zirkon, Kalzit, Quarz oder vieles mehr.

Die Bilder sollen für die Museumswände und den Katalog in einer höchstmöglichen Auflösung verwendet werden.

Wenn Ihr Eure Bilder im Museum und auch Katalog sehen möchtet, dann ladet die Bilder doch bitte im Lexikon in bester Auflösung hoch und verlinkt sie hier. Ob es Geld dafür gibt weiß ich nicht, kann ich mir aber vorstellen.

Solltet Ihr schon hochqualitative Bilder im Lexikon zeigen, könnt Ihr die natürlich auch hier verlinken.

Ich werde das Museum dann auf diesen Thread aufmerksam machen und ggf. den Kontakt zu Euch vermitteln. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn Ihr so schnell als möglich mitmacht.

Hallo Stefan,

ich habe das Thema leider er jetzt gesehen. Eine Auswahl, die eventuell in Frage kommt.
Beim Reichenbachit finde ich es interessant, dass auch ein Aggregat die Symmetrie des Einkristalls zeigt.
Die Abweichung der Ideal-Symmetrie zeigt der Argentit. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob das etwas anspruchsvolle Thema Verzerrung auch Teil der Ausstellung werden soll.

Hallo Stefan,

weil ich nicht davor zurückschrecke auch kleine Kristalle abzubilden, ist bei mir die Auflösung begrenzt durch die verwendeten Objektive.
Mehr Pixel bringen leider nicht viel, sind aber bei Bedarf vorhanden.

Ich hab bei dem Perowskit-Bild mal die Beschreibung von "mit feinen klaren adeligen Apathie-xx" in etwas mineralogisch passenderes geändert  ;D

Ich bin mir nicht zu 100% sicher, ob ich die Anfrage richtig verstehe, d.h. ob auch das Bild möglichst symetrisch sein soll. Aber ungeachtet dessen werfe ich mal folgende Bilder ins Rennen (soweit nicht in hoher Auflösung im Lexikon, können die Bilder in entsprechender Auflösung, natürlich auch als tif-Datei, gern nachgereicht werden, falls gewünscht).

Hallo,

das Museeum hat sich für Bilder von Markus (etalon) und Josef (Josef 84,55) entschieden. Ihr seid bereits von mir per Email informiert worden.

Ich denke alle Bilder hätten das Potenzial gehabt. Leider wurden nur 4 Bilder benötigt.

Die Ausstellungsorganisation dankt Euch allen für Eure Unterstützung!

Die Ausstellung soll Mitte nächsten Jahres eröffnet werden. Das Themengebiet der Ausstellung "Mathematik" beinhaltet "Symmetrie" und damit auch die entsprechenden Bilder.
