Detailed Description

bekanntestes Vorkommen für Lasurit, Afghanit und das Mineralgemisch Lapis Lazuli. Die Lapis Lazuli Mine bei Sar-e-Sang ist die weltweit bekannteste Mine mit der besten Qualität. Die Farbe variiert von hellblau teilw. mit Calcit-Dolomitbeimengungen bis dunkelblau und stets mit eingelagerte Pyritkristalle. Je dunkler die blaue Farbe je wertvoller ist der Stein.
