Labradorit, "Oregon sunstone"

Sonnenstein (Labradorit) aus Oregon von der Dust Devil Mine als etwa 23 mm großer Designschliff. Der Schiller entsteht durch mikroskopisch kleine Kupferkristalleinschlüsse, die grüne Färbung ensteht durch submikroskopische Verwachsung mit Protoenstatit-Nanokristallen.
