Beryll

Beryll

Eine kristallographische Seltenheit. Der Kristall wird fast ausschließlich durch die Flächen von drei Pyramiden gebildet, während das Prisma kaum existiert. Die Unterseite ist die Kontaktseite zu der Innenwand des Hohlraumes, in welchem dieser Kristall gewachsen ist. Eine Seite ist mit Muskovit bedeckt, was einen interessanten Kontrast mit dem tiefen Blaugrün des Beryll ergibt. Brieville, Vohambohitra, Tamatave, Madagaskar; Größe: 7,7 x 6,3 cm
