Windkraftanlagen - Nicht ohne Seltene Erden

Seltene Erden sind Bestandteil von Neodym-Magneten (Nd-Magneten) und werden unter anderem iin Generatoren von Windkraftanlagen verwendet. In 14 Prozent (oder rund einem Sechstel) der neu installierten Windkraftanlagen kommen Nd-Magnete zum Einsatz. Sie arbeiten ohne Getriebe, was sie robust macht und vorteilhaft für den Einsatz in Offshore-Windanlagen ist
