Gipshut

Gipshut

Aufgeschlossener Teil des Gipshuts des Salzstocks in der Kalkgrube Lieth. Er besteht aus zu körnigem Gips alteriertem steilgestelltem Anhydritfelsen. Der Hügel am Boden des Steinbruches misst etwa 80 x 30m und ist etwa 5 m hoch, der Gips ist jedoch bereits teilweise überwachsen und überflutet. Foto Juni 2013.
