Mofette

Mofetten an der Ostküste des Laacher Sees. U.a. Kohlenstoffdioxid (CO2) und Methan und Helium - Austritt. Schwefelwasserstoffanteile führen zu einem Geruch nach faulen Eiern z.T. am Wasser oder auch an Land im Wald; (wo sich in Kuhlen das Gas sammelt und dabei Tiere und Pflanzen zum absterben bringen kann.) Gut erkennt man solche Stellen, wo nichts auf den Feldern gedeiht.
