Aktives Bergwerk (untertage). Sehr große Lagerstätte mit Reserven von 290.300 t Sn.

Geology

Fe-Sn-Skarnlagerstätte mit polymetallischem Charakter. LS entstand während des Mesozoikums im Rahmen einer Granitintrusion und mehrfachen Umlagerungsprozessen in Marmoren sowie kalkhaltigen Schiefern.

Detailed Description

Außer Fe und Sn spielen in diesem Erzvorkommen auch Metalle wie W, Mo, Cu und Zn eine Rolle. Insgesamt konnten in Huanggang 110 verschiedene, flach linsenförmige und bis zu 110 m breite Erzkörper festgestellt werden. Von den 7 getrennten erzhaltigen Skarnlinsen sind die Nr.I, II und III die größten. Insgesamt sind hier über 100 Mio. t Magnetit und mehr als 400.000 t Zinnerz als Vorräte nachgewiesen. Zuerst wurden bis 2005 in den Lagerstätten II und III Tagebau betrieben, heute in allen Anlagen nur noch Untertagebergbau.
