Detailed description
Von Beginn an wurden in dieser Abteilung alle nicht Samentragenden Pflanzen eingeordnet. Inzwischen sind nur noch Farn oder farnähnliche vertreten. Dies verursacht immer wieder mal verwirrung. Lycopsida kommen raus. Pteridophyta bezeichnet auch Filicophyta, Equisetophyta Class Pteridopsida [= Filicopsida, Polypodiopsida] wird derzeit nach Smith et al. (2006) und Taylor & Taylor 2009 umgebaut |
