Detailed description

Das Rentier war ein bevorzugtes Beutetier des spätpleistozänen Menschen, ganz besonders in der Kulturstufe des Magdalenien (spätes Jungpaläolithikum).
Viele der in Höhlen gefundenen Rentierknochen wurden aber auch durch die Aktivitäten der Höhlenhyäne dorthin verbracht.
