Beschreibung

Die Ordnung Nautilida erschien im Unterdevon. Sie entwickelte ca. 160 Gattungen von denen eine einzige bis heute überlebt hat. Die Gattung Nautilus, (auch "Perlboot" genannt), lebt heute noch mit wenigen Arten in den Meeren um Australien.
