Detailed description
Zusammen mit den kieferlosen Wirbeltieren (Agnatha) bilden die Kiefertiere den Stamm der Wirbeltiere. Dabei bilden die kieferlosen Wirbeltiere nur einen kleinen Teil. Der Kiefer bildete sich aus einem Teil des Schädels. Leider ist noch nicht anhand von Fossilien nachgewiesen, aus welchem Teil sich der Kiefer bildete. |
