Johanna van Konijnenburg-van Cittert

Johanna H. A. (“HAN”) van Konijnenburg-van Cittert ist eine berühmte Paläobotanikerin aus den Niederlanden. Besonders bekannt ist sie als Spezialistin für die Jura-Flora, sie arbeitet aber auch in anderen Systemen des Mesozoikums sowie an älteren und jüngeren Floren.

Sie studierte ab 1961 Biologie in Utrecht, seit 1970 ist sie Mitarbeiterin am Laboratory of Palaeobotany and Palynology der Universität Utrecht, seit 1998 am Naturalis Biodiversity Center. Seit 2003 ist sie außerordentliche Professorin an der Universität Leiden.
