Description:
Stibnit von Herja zählt mit zu den bedeutendsten auf der Welt. Stufen bis 80 cm Größe mit Kristallen von 20 cm Länge kann man im Museum in Baia Mare bewundern. Dabei sind prismatische Kristalle von 8 cm Länge und 1,5 cm Breite keine Seltenheit. Die große Mehrheit der Stufen sind radialstrahlig angeordnete, dünnnadelige Aggregate. Sehr selten sind kugelige Ausbildungen bis 4 mm.
