Leicht löslich in Salzsäure und Salpetersäure, gegenüber Laugen instabil. Beim Erhitzen Farbänderung nach gelb-grün; H2O-Abgabe, das letzte Kristallwasser wird erst bei Rotglut abgegeben. Vor dem Lötrohr schmilzt Euchroit auf Kohle unter Aufglühen; Arsengeruch; grüne Boraxperle (Cu).
