Chemical Properties and Tests

Bei Zimmertemperatur unter schwachem Sprudeln langsam löslich in verd. und konz. Salzsäure. Giftig, da dabei Freisetzung toxischer Be2+ -Ionen! In feuchter Luft starke Absorbtion von molekularem Wasser; sein Hydratations- Dehydratations-Prozess hängt demnach von der Luftfeuchtigkeit ab und ist umkehrbar.
