Additional information / Summary
Calciborit wurde zum ersten Mal in der Novoportovskoye Kupfer-Bor-Lagerstätte, in der Nähe von Krasnoturinsk, Turinsk Bezirk, Northern Ural, Russland im Jahr 1955 beschrieben. Calciborit wurde gebildet in einer Skarn-Lagerstätte im Kalkstein neben einer Quarz-Diorit-Intrusion. Begleiter sind Sibirskit (ein weiteres seltenes Calciumborat Mineral), Calcit, Dolomit, Granat, Magnetit und Mineralien der Pyroxen-Gruppe. Das Mineral wurde auch von der Fuka Mine von Präfektur Okayama, Japan berichtet. |
