September 2001, State College, Pennsylvania, USA), Professor an der Pennsylvania State University für seine Beiträge zur strukturellen und experimentellen Mineralogie. Er entwickelte die POWD-Software für die Röntgenpulverdiffraktionsanalyse und war Mitbegründer der Zeitschrift Powder Diffraction.
