Phosphophyllite, Jahnsite-(CaMnMn), Schoonerite
Two colorless phosphophyllite crystals with visible cleavage planes. Also in the picture groups of orange janhsite-(CaMnMn) and brown plates of schoonerite. All XRD and EDS analyzed. Note: Jahnsite-(CaMnMn) in this association tend to show significant Cd and Zn content, but not enough to be a new species for the Group; Shoonerite was originally identified by PXRD (mixed with phosphophyllite), then it was confirmed by EDS and assigned to the brown tabular aggregates. Though to be extremely rare at Sitio do Castelo Mine and it occur only in this particular assemblage (phosphophyllite, lun'okite, jansite-(CaMnMn) and nizamoffite); Locality: Sítio do Castelo Mine, Folgosinho, Gouveia, Guarda District, Portugal;
