Er war in einer sehr flachen Spalte eingewachsen und zerlegte sich glücklich in zwei Hälften, die beide schöne kirschrote Farbe im Inneren der von Außen komplett schwarz angelaufenen Kristalle zeigen. Der Fundort ist der Reckibach im Binntal, Wallis, Schweiz
