Eduard Jean Louis Wenk (1907-2001), Schweizer Geologe, Petrograph und Mineraloge, Professor an der Universität in Basel. Er betreute die Dissertation, in deren Verlauf J. Papageorgakis das neue Mineral entdeckte und beschrieb.
