Detailed Description

Allen's Slip ist ein schmales vertikales Band von grauem Ton auf der Mount Somers Station. Es ist ungefähr einen Meter breit und dreißig Meter lang und enthält eine Schicht kleiner Achate mit dominierender Schwarz-Weiß-Bänderung oder Schwarz kombiniert mit farblosen Schichten. Oft zeigen diese Achate kleine schwarzweiße Augenachat-Bildungen auf ihrer Oberfläche. Allen's Slip liegt an einer steilen Hügelkante und endet in einem kleinen Bach. Allen's Slip wurde nach Allen Wells benannt, dem Ehemann von Hettie Feith Wells, die Hetties Slip in den 1960er Jahren entdeckte.
