Sir Arthur Edward Ian Montagu Russell (* 30.11.1878 Swallowfield Park (Reading, Berkshire); + 24.2.1964 ) war ein britischer Mineraloge und Mineraliensammler.

Er war Sohn des Rechtsanwaltes und Politikers Sir George Russell. Russell selbst war der 6. Baron von Swallowfield Park.

Er entdeckte die Fe-haltige Türkis-Variante "Rashleighit". Russell war wohl der berühmteste Mineraliensammler in GB im 20. Jahrhundert. Er hinterließ eine excellente cornische Mineralien-Sammlung mit 12.000 Stufen dem British Museum.

Russell studierte in Eton. Er war Mitglied des "Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)". Er graduierte 1939 als "Lieutenant Royal Engineers", "Pres Mineralogical Society GB", "Honour Doctor of Science (D.Sc.)" Oxford 1956. Ihm zu Ehren wurden die Mineralien Russellit und Arthurit benannt. Es wurde eine Russell Society mit mineralogischer Zielsetzung gegründet (für Laien und Professionelle), die die Russell-Madaille für mineralogische Verdienste verleiht.
