Detailed Description

Alter berühmer Pegmatit-Bezirk. (Edelsteine!) Sehr schönes Museum am Ort mit vielen großen und schönen Stufen aus dem Alabashka-Edelsteinfeld. Museum befindet sich in einer alten zum Museum umgebauten Kirche. Auch das Sommerwohn- und Arbeitshaus des bedeutenden russischen Mineralogen Alexander Jewgenjewitsch Fersman befindet sich hier am Ort. Seine grundlegenden Forschungen zu den Alabashka-Pegmatiten werden ebenfalls im Museum gewürdigt.

Die Gegend um Murzinka umfasst etliche Pegmatitfelder und zahlreiche Amethyst führende Quarzgänge.
