Detailed Description

In der Sierra Almagrera befinden sich die ältesten Bergbaugebiete Spaniens. Etwas 3500 v. Chr., also in der Jungsteinzeit wurden hier Schmuckstücke aus Silber hergestellt.

In der Neuzeit standen insgesamt 350 Gruben im Abbau.
