ehem. Insel erstreckt sich SO von der Stadt Weymouth.

Exposure description

Die Kliffküste bildet selbst einen Ring von Aufschlüssen. Trümmermassen am Fuß der Kliffs sind gut geeignet zum Suchen. Man kann auf dem Plateau in aufgelassenen und aktiven Steinbrüchen suchen.

Geology

Vom Jura bis Quartär: Viele klassische Schichten sind hier gut aufgeschlossen: Kimmeridge, Portland, Purbeck. Ober Oolitischer Kalkstein.
