Detailed Description

Etwa 5km südwestlich von Bunessan befinden sich in der Bucht von Scoor Aufschlüsse in steilstehenden Granat-Glimmerschiefern und Quarziten der Moine-Serie. Die Felsen östlich der Bucht werden von einem flach nach Südwesten einfallenden Doleritgang durchschlagen. Am Port na Mean-faochaige treten in den Klippen einige Pegmatitgänge mit Biotit und Titanit auf.
