von der Intedrstate 80 in westl. Richtung von Exit "Imlay) nach NW auf den im Hintergrund auffällig gezackten Berg zufahren.

Exposure description

stillgelegte Untertage Mine. Halden wenig ergiebig.

Geology

Cu-Sn-As Lagerstätte. Rhyolitisches Intrusiv-Gestein, Schiefer, Schlammstein, Schluff, Sandstein und Carbonat-Gestein, wenig Vulkanite.

Entrance Restrictions

Die Fundstellen finden sich im wesentlichen im mittleren Stollen (middle adit) in zwei unterschiedlichen Abbauzonen: a) Copper stope b) Tin (Zinn) stope. Bis 1996 war der Middle adit noch zugänglich, soll aber neuerdings abgesperrt sein.
