Detailed Description

Berühmte Dinosaurierfundstelle. Paläontologische Aufsammlungen und Grabungen durch das AMNH im 19. Jhdt (?, differierende Angaben) und in den 1930er-Jahren (Barnum Brown). Bei den Grabungen in den 1930er-Jahren wurden ca. 20 Skelette von großen Sauropoden (Langhals-Dinosauriern) entdeckt (konkret im sogenannten Howe Dinosaur Quarry). Neuerliche Grabungen Ende des 20. bis Anfang des 21. Jhdts vom Sauriermuseum Aathal („Köbi“ Siber und sein Team). Es gibt im Gebiet eine ganze Anzahl von "Dinosaurier-Quarries", die hier aber nicht einzeln angeführt, sondern unter "Howe Ranch" zusammengefasst werden.
