Willkommen im neuen Forum "Mineralrekorde - Riesenkristalle"

Sinn dieses neuen Forums soll sein, den Sektor "Mineralrekorde" des Mineralienatlas als auch die Diskussion über  Riesenkristalle auf dem Giant Crystal Project - http://giantcrystals.strahlen.org - zu beleben. Das Forum soll dabei zweisprachig in englisch und deutsch geführt werden, um so einem breiteren Personenkreis zugänglich zu sein.

Welche Beiträge und Diskussionen gehören hier hinein ?

- Neuigkeiten zum Thema Riesenkristalle und Mineralrekorde aus dem www und Zeitungsmeldungen

- Fragen um den Komplex " Wie groß werden Kristalle des Minerales."platzhalerit".!" und wo kommen die vor ?

- Informationen zu Lokalitäten mit besonders großen Kristallen wie z.B. Merkers, Naica, Etta oder Rubicon, Namibia

- In welchen Museum finde ich besonders große Kristalle einer Mineralart

- Klärung von Gerüchten. wie z.B. : Ich habe gelesen, das es in Australien 30 m große Granatkristalle geben soll. Stimmt das ?"

- Diskussionen zu den oben genannten Punkten.

- gerne auch vieles weiteres, sofern es mit Mineralrekorden und Riesenkristallen zu tun hat.

Welcome in the new Forum " Mineral Records - Giant Crystals"

In this forum we would like to discuss both about the largest crystals of its kind = minerals records of the Mineralienatlas and giant crystals / extraordinary crystal aggregates as documented in the Giant Crystal Project at http://giantcrystals.strahlen.org. To reach a broader audience, this forum is intended to be bilingual both german and english. Feel free to post any large and giant crystal related question and topic here.

Some of the topics we welcome here are :

- News around giant crystals and mineral records from the www and from written magazines.

 - Questions and discussions such as " Which are the largest crystals of mineral xyz ? ... and where are they found ?"

- Informations and news about localities with giant crystals, such as the Merkers potash mine, the Naica mine, the Etta Mine or the Rubicon mine in Namibia.

- Where can I see the largest crystal of its kind  on display...which museum do I have to visit to see giant crystals ?

- Discussion about rumours of giant crystals, such as the 30 m large garnet crystals in Australia

- All topic related discussions and anything else, which is "Mineral Records" and "Giant Crystal" related.
