Map of Argentina showing the division of the Patagonian Region with the rest of the Country.
The line in fucsia color , shows the "Rio Colorado" which divides the Patagonian Region from the rest of the Country. This is where we find the "Patagonian Agates". It has been very often said that the "Condor" type agates become from this Region , which is not true. "Condor" type agates , become from "Mendoza" Province near "San Rafael " City.
