Agates from the Patagonian Region, Argentina

This is one of our favorites. It was found during year 2005 in the Patagonian Region, "Chubut" Province.
1: Measures 7 cm x 4 cm weighs 182 grams.

welcome to the Mineralienatlas. Your agates are pretty nice, and we would like to see more pictures in the future.
At the time we work in our lexicon on a separate agate category.

It´s just a beginning and we need pictueres and informations about the localitys. If you agree, we like to use some of your pictures for the lexikon in future.
Unfortunately it´s in german language, but if you have questions don´t hesitate to ask me. If you like with a personal message.
As you can see, my english is not very well, but i think it´s enough to agree.

But please, grand a request. We need the exact locality for the pieces. Not the GPS datas, but a little bit more than the country.

It was raining all the time and the soil was of clay. Difficult to walk!

Landschaftsachate sind auch nicht so häufig.Im Lexikon werden diese noch ihren Platz finden.Immer dabei bleiben.

We really travelled a lot all over Patagonia!! We know where agates are found and where there is nothing!
