blue flint

This is a common flint type at some locations in central and northern Poland, found as an erratic boulder (Geschiebe of German authors) in postglacial sediments. The only fossils I keep finding in them are Bryzoza (last photo). The color is blue, not well represented on the photos below. Can you point to their age and presume source in the North?

 The Blue is  from  Flint ->   Chalcedon ..

The blue colour of such erratic boulders of flint is not related to the original colour which is gray in most cases but results from patination due to long-term exposure on the surface. Such blue-coloured flint boulders are very common in northern Germany too.

The flint boulder No. 3 may be from Danian (about 62-66 million years old) due to scores of bryozoans.
