Cop­per - one of the old­est me­t­als of mankindCopper was one of the first metals ever extracted and used by humans, and it has made vital contributions to sustaining and improving society since the dawn of civilization.
The metal and its alloys have been used for thousands of years. Copper was first used in coins and ornaments starting about 8000 B.C., and at about 5500 B.C., copper tools helped civilization emerge from the Stone Age. In the Roman era, copper was principally mined on Cyprus, hence the origin of the name of the metal as сyprium (metal of Cyprus), later shortened to сuprum.

The discovery that copper alloyed with tin produces bronze marked the beginning of the Bronze Age at about 3000 B.C.
Copper is easily stretched, molded, and shaped; is resistant to corrosion; and conducts heat and electricity efficiently. As a result, copper was important to early humans and continues to be a material of choice for a variety of domestic, industrial, and high-technology applications today.

JadeWährend der Kolonialisierung Zentralamerikas (Anfang 16. Jh. bids Anfang 19. Jh.) durch die Spanier entdeckten diese, dass die Einwohner bestimmte grüne Steine als Heilsteine oder Amulette gegen Nierenleiden trugen. Die Spanier nannten diese Steine "piedra de ijada" (etwa Lenden- bzw. Nierenstein, auch als "Piedra de los riñones = Stein der Nieren / für die Nieren" bezeichnet). Der spanische Ausdruck "piedra de ijada" wurde ins Französische als "l’éjade" übernommen und ungefähr im 17. Jahrhundert fälschlich zu "le jade" umgebildet.

Der Hauptgang ist vom Schacht nach Westen zu gespalten in zwei Parallelgänge, den nördlichen "Arnold-Gang" und den südlichen "Glückauf-Gang", nach circa 200 m treffen sich beide Gänge in einer Scharungszone (Trümmerzone) wieder. Auf der 52 m Sohle wird nach Osten hin ein 3 bis 4 m breiter Gang erwähnt. Die Gangfüllung, soweit man noch im eigentlichen Sinne von einem regelmäßigen Gang sprechen kann, ist so angeordnet, daß in einem verkitteten Haufwerk von +/- veränderten Graniteinschlüssen (z.T. weiss gebleicht in Salbandregion - kaolinisiert - oder grünlich verschmiert - nontronitisiert -) der Stinkspat in +/- großen Adern, Zonen und Häufungen angereichert ... Wan­ni­gletsch­er-Scher­ba­dung - Eine span­nende Steine-Geschichte...Während meines Studiums profitierte ich in besonderer Weise von den jeweils dreimonatigen Semesterferien. Ich verbrachte sie hauptsächlich im schweizerischen Binntal, wo ich bei dem einheimischen Strahler Andre Gorsatt quasi „ in die Lehre gehen“ durfte. Ich reinigte und formatierte Fundstücke, begleitete zuerst die Strahlerexkursionen, die Andre Gorsatt anbot und durfte in Folge auch eigene Führungen leiten. Es mag an meinem Habitus von einem Drittel Athlet und zwei Dritteln Pykniker gelegen haben, dass ich in der Hauptsache für die Familien- und Senioren-Führungen vorgesehen wurde...
