Seine absolute Höhe (über NN) beträgt 1558 m, er überragt die umgebende Ebene auf einem Sockel von Sedimentgesteinen um etwa 264 m. Seine Basis besitzt einen Durchmesser von ungefähr 300 m, am abgeflachten Gipfelbereich beträgt dieser etwa 120 m. |

Although the name baryte has been assigned centuries later, it may be assumed that the Bologna stone is the first description in the literature. Patrick Green gründete die erste Mine "The Pioneer" 1876. 1883 fand Charles Rasp schwarzes Gestein und vermutete Kassiterit; also schickte er Proben zur Analyse.
