Min­er­al Days in Mu­nich 2012 or „The Mu­nich Show“For the 49th year once again the Munich Mineral Show was held. A few years ago under the old leadership the motto almost entirely stood under the theme of minerals and fossils. This year not only the name seems to change away from the "Munich Mineral Show" changing to "The Munich Show". The new exhibition management, led by the young Mr. Keilmann seems not quite knowing where to go or has something bigger in mind. Die Lithothek der Münch­en­er Mi­cro­moun­ter„Was soll nur aus meiner Micromount-Sammlung werden, wenn ich selbst einmal nicht mehr sammeln kann? Sie enthält doch Stücke von einmaliger Ästhetik, von längst erloschenen Fundstellen oder größter Seltenheit. Das alles droht unterzugehen, weil nach mir niemand den Wert erkennt, der in den zunächst unscheinbar wirkenden Döschen steckt.“ Dieser Gedanke wird bei vielen Sammlern von Micromounts diskutiert. Dabei wird die oben genannte Befürchtung immer wieder geäußert. Bei der Masse der vorhandenen Literatur reichen die hier gemachten Angaben im Allgemeinen aus, um sich einen Überblick zu verschaffen. Unter den einzelnen Gruben lassen sich weitere Angaben finden und hoffe dem interessierten Leser und Sammler genügend Stoff an die Hand gegeben zu haben. Allgemein und bergmännisch werden als Schiefer deutlich parallel angeordnete, in dünnen, ebenen Platten spaltbare Gesteine bezeichnet. Unter diesen Sammelbegriff fallen jedoch auch Tonschiefer, Schieferton, Tonstein, kristalline Schiefer, echte und unechte, kristalline und metamorphe Schiefer und viele, viele synonyme Schiefer-Wortgebilde und lokale Bezeichnungen- was nicht zu einer eindeutigen Definition beiträgt.
