Test­bericht Scu­ri­on 1500 mit UV Op­tionDie speziell auf die Bedürfnisse für Mineraliensammler abgestimmte Scurion 1500 mit UV Option wird primär in 2 Teilen und Zubehör geliefert. Auf der einen Seite der Lampenkopf mit Verbindungskabel und Durchführung für den Batteriekasten. Und dann der Batteriekasten, der in seiner geschwungen Form an einen Flachmann erinnert. Zum Testen lag uns eine Version mit kurzem Kabel zur Befestigung von Lampenkopf und Batteriekasten am Helm vor.

Dev­il's Pul­pitActually, this is a picturesque place in a well-kept forest. Nevertheless, in the past, evil itself is said to have preached to the damned here from a large, solitary, towering rock spur. Today, the term Devil's Pulpit inspires one to play with associations, as do the drawings of agates found here. Their fantastic outlines, coupled with the unusual shape of the secondary rock, evoke images in the viewer that he would not have suspected in a stone. And on the devil's pulpit no longer an evil demon is waiting for the agate collector, but other executive powers threatening with purgatory... a contribution by Klaus Schäfer and others (in german)

The "Eisen­ham­mer" (iron ham­mer) to He­im­buchen­thal The former "Eisenhammer" (iron hammer) to Heimbuchenthal has to show a very interesting history. The hammer mill established at the beginning of the 18th century reached at the end of the 18th century in the possession of the family Rexroth under whose guidance the company came to the full blossom. The squires showed a high social engagement which was reflected in the reimbursement of the workers, but also in the enlargement of the entrance ways. In specially constructed schools up to 30 children were teaches on the hammer mill property. On one, from oaks surrounded cemetery the late squires and their members were buried. In 1891 the company was discontinued and the hammer mill was converted into a court estate. From the industrial monument all buildings except the great smithy are even today in a very good state.

Min­er­alien­por­trait Spha­ler­itDer Name des Minerals stammt vom griechischen sphaleros. Dieses bedeutet trügerisch, weil aus der zusammen mit Bleiglanz gefundenen Zinkblende kein Blei gewonnen werden konnte und das Element Zink noch nicht entdeckt war. Blende war die Bergmannsbezeichnung für taubes Erz. Sphalerit ist das wichtigste Zinkerz, aus welchem neben dem Metall Zink auch Cadmium, Indium und ....

Sphalerit gehört zum kubischen Kristallsystem und zur hexakistetraedrischen Klasse. Die Struktur der Kristalle ist ähnlich der Diamantstruktur, wobei, anders als bei Diamant, um jedes S-Ion an den Tetraederecken vier Zinkionen angeordnet sind. Im Gegensatz zu Diamant verläuft die Spaltbarkeit in den Sphaleritkristallen nicht nach den Flächen des Oktaeders, sondern nach den Flächen des Rhombendodekaeders {110}, da diese Gitterebenen gleichviel Zn- und ... Bei der Masse der vorhandenen Literatur reichen die hier gemachten Angaben im Allgemeinen aus, um sich einen Überblick zu verschaffen.
