Condor Achate ???

Schau doch mal ins Lexikon.Da kannst Du viele Fundstellen von Argentinien sehen.
Den Namen Condorachat darft Du wie manch andere Interpretation nicht so wörtlich nehmen.
Ricardo hat es noch einmal gut umschrieben so wie von mir vorgestellt.Nun dürfte eigentlich
die Frage beantwortet sein.Das Thema Achate ist sehr vielfältig und wenn man erst am Anfang steht ist es nicht immer ganz einfach sich in den vielen Bezeichnungen zurecht zu finden.Im Lexikon findet man viele Antworten auf verschiedene Namensgebungen.Wenn dennoch etwas unklar ist,einfach weiter fragen.Denn wer fragt bekommt Antworten.

Now that I have cleared out the "Condor" achat location  , I would like to get it even clearer for those who have not travelled to the different  agate sources in "San Rafael" , "Mendoza" Province , "Cuyean" Region.
The "Cuyean" Region is composed by 4 Provinces ; "Mendoza" , "San Juan" , "San Luis" (Onix) ,and "La Rioja".
"Cuyo" , means in Indigenous Language "Sandy soil".
Pleae , find a map of "Mendoza" Province with the two most important agate sources. We have heard that there could "probably" ??? be agates in "San Juan" Province , but this will be a motive of another trip we will organize to go there.

Condor Agate from "San Rafael" , Mendoza Province , "Cuyean" Region.
This agate was purchased in year 2005 along with other 280 pieces to the first (and only) "Condor" agate collector in "San Rafael" , although not all of the specimens were good quality.
He started collecting agates in "San Rafael" in 1981 aproximately.
Now , with Claudia we continue looking for new agate sources in "Mendoza" Province.
