Did they acquire the piece from Rob, they sure look a lot like each other....if they are the same maybe Rob can shed his light on the subject

ich meine, wenn Ihr alle Beispiel-Bilder, die im Thread hier bzw. mindat angegeben sind, genau vergleicht, ist die Magma-Mine ziemlich eindeutig. Es ist klar angegeben worden "Brunndöbra" oder "Magma".
I think when you compare all the pictures, which are noted in this and the mindat-thread, than The "Magma" Mine is the favorit. Its clear announced "Brunndöbra" or "Magma".

Don't be too quick, at least, I wouldn't place my bets on it after just a few opinions......
The thing is, both dealers (Wayne/Donna and Rob) had Magma mine Barytes in their stock AND the alleged Brunndöbra (or Zobes) Barytes. Dealers with their experience in the business would have certainly recognised a Magma mine Baryte and yet both dealers sold the specimens as Vogtland ones.......

Actually Wayne was the one who brought up the issue before he sold it to me. And I actually did talk to Rob, though he only saw a small photo of the specimen at the time, he thought it was from Magma. Thanks again all.
